Nickname for an official template
Each WhatsApp Official API template can get a nickname or a short description, only so the team can recognize the model inside Interflow. The official name and the text sent to the customer stay the same.
What is it for?
- Find the right template when the Meta name is unclear or looks like another
- See the nickname on cards, in search, in a flow, in a bulk send, and when creating a conversation
How to use it
- Open the WhatsApp Business (Official) channel and go to Templates
- When creating or editing, fill in Nickname or description (optional, up to 120 characters)
- Save. If only the nickname changed, the template is not sent back for approval
- In the official-channel chat, type
/and search by nickname or official name. Choosing the item opens that template for sending
