New Features
Time clock punch control
The time clock now allows one clock-in, one lunch out, one return, and one clock-out per day. A second punch of the same type is rejected until an administrator deletes the incorrect one.
In HR settings you can set:
- the earliest time for the first punch of the day
- the minimum lunch break (the employee value wins when set)
- the latest clock-out time
If clock-out is later than that limit and approval is enabled, that day’s overtime stays pending. Payroll and the hour bank credit it only after an administrator approves it. Rejecting clears the credit.
For the employee
On Clock in, Pause is now Lunch out. The screen shows time already worked, time left on the daily load, the day’s forecast, and the earliest expected clock-out.
For the administrator
On the payroll preview, an administrator sets the day status: justified absence, unjustified absence, holiday, day off, time-clock waiver, or medical certificate. Justified absence, holiday, day off, waiver, and medical certificate do not create pending hours. An unjustified absence debits the day’s load.
On punches, an administrator can edit the time or type, or delete the punch, always with a reason. The history is kept.
