Bulk Actions in the Chat List

You can now perform actions on multiple chats at once — mark as read or mark as resolved — directly from the chat list, using the existing advanced filters.

What is it for?

  • Clear queues quickly after bulk campaigns or volume spikes
  • Mark all filtered chats as read (by tag, channel, agent, status, etc.) in one click
  • Bulk-resolve pending conversations without opening each chat individually
  • Reduce repetitive manual work for teams handling high conversation volume

How to use?

  1. Open Chats and apply the desired filters (status, tag, channel, agent, team, unread only, etc.)
  2. Click the bulk selection icon (☑) at the top of the chat list
  3. Select chats individually with checkboxes or use Select all filtered to include every matching page
  4. In the bottom bar, choose:
    • Mark as read — clears unread messages on eligible chats
    • Mark as resolved — closes only chats with pending status; in progress chats are skipped
  5. Confirm the action when prompted (more than 10 chats)

💡 The operation runs as a single batch on the server, staying fast even with hundreds of conversations. Already-read chats or chats not in pending are counted as skipped in the summary.
