✨ New Features
Schedule Notifications for Providers
Appointment reminders can now be sent to the provider responsible for the appointment — in addition to the client, or exclusively to them. Each notification template now includes a Recipient field with three options: client only, provider only, or both.
What is it for?
- Remind the provider of upcoming appointments without relying on manual processes.
- Reduce no-shows and delays from staff by automating WhatsApp or email alerts.
- Full flexibility: set up separate templates for the client and the provider with different messages and send times.
How does it work?
When creating or editing a schedule notification template, choose the recipient:
| Option | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Client | Sends only to the appointment's client (previous behavior) |
| Provider | Sends only to the provider linked to the appointment |
| Both | Sends to both client and provider in the same run |
Automatic contact synchronization
The system automatically links a notification customer record to each organization member based on their profile data (WhatsApp and email). On every reminder dispatch, the system:
- Checks whether the member already has a linked notification record.
- If not: creates one automatically from the profile's name, WhatsApp, and email.
- If the WhatsApp number has changed: updates the existing contact to the current number, ensuring the provider always receives the message at the right number.
- If a new contact type (email) was added to the profile: creates the complementary contact in the record.
No manual action is required from the administrator — the system keeps contact data always in sync.
🎯 Benefits
- ✅ Providers receive automatic appointment reminders via WhatsApp or email
- ✅ Per-template granular setup — different messages and times for client and provider
- ✅ Notification record created automatically on the first run, no manual configuration needed
- ✅ Contact automatically synced whenever the provider changes their number
- ✅ No impact on existing flows — templates without a defined recipient continue working for the client as before
