Notes and a charge in legal proceedings
When creating or editing a billing contract, you can write an internal note and mark whether the charge is in legal proceedings. The contract description stays separate.
What is it for?
- Record case details without mixing them into the charge description
- See which charges are in court
- Spot the Legal badge on the contract list
How to use it
- Open Billing and create a contract, or open an existing one
- Fill in Notes
- Choose Not in legal proceedings or In legal proceedings
- On the list, a legal charge shows the Legal badge
- On the detail page, the pencil next to the note changes the text and the selector
On renegotiation, the note and the legal flag carry over to the new contract.
