Bulk Messages
Run campaigns for customer segments: direct message, WAHA flow, or silent flow on the last chat.
Access
Sidebar → Bulk messages. Requires bulkMessages.
Send modes
| Mode | Behavior | Notes |
|---|---|---|
message | Send text/template | Official templates must be APPROVED |
flow | Start a general flow via WAHA | Delay ≥ 20s recommended |
silent_flow | Run bulk_silent on the customer's last chat with no outbound message | Delay ≥ 5s; media/text/input nodes blocked |
Create a campaign
- Open Bulk messages → New
- Choose send mode and audience filters (channel, tags, CRM stages, status…)
- Optionally mark Excluded tags so those contacts do not receive the send
- Configure message/template/flow and interval
- Start — you can pause or cancel later
Exclude tags
Besides including by tags, a campaign can exclude contacts with certain tags (for example stop messages or opt out).
- Anyone with any excluded tag is left out of the queue, even if they match a stage or another include tag
- The recipient estimate already subtracts those people
- A tag cannot be selected for include and exclude at the same time
- If Excluded tags is empty, the send behaves as before
Useful to honor opt-out requests without dismantling include lists.
Changelog: v2026.9.8
Silent flows
bulk_silent does not talk to the contact. Use it for CRM updates, tasks, webhooks, etc.
WhatsApp WAHA
In message mode with a WAHA channel:
- Send only to existing conversations is checked by default — it does not open a new contact on that number
- If WhatsApp restricts first contacts, the campaign pauses immediately and does not resume by itself
- People who already have a conversation on the channel can still receive messages
Useful so a shared number does not make a WhatsApp block worse.
